How to Reinstall ezAccounting Payroll Software from Scratch

Step 1: Log in to the computer as an administrator or a user with permissions to install/uninstall programs.

Step 2. Back up the ezAccounting data folder. (Do not skip this step if you have set up ezAccounting and entered data!!!)

You can copy all the files in this folder to another location, such as a USB disk or cloud storage.

The default data folder for ezAccounting is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ezAccounting

Step 3. Uninstall ezAccounting.
Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features. Select ezAccounting from program list, and then click Uninstall.

Step 4: Delete the following two folders: the data folder and the application folder.

The default folder for ezAccounting is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ezAccounting

The default application folder is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Halfpricesoft\ezAccounting

Step 5: Download and install ezAccounting

Note:
- If your computer caches data, please clean your download folder.

Step 6: Quick test: add and print a check.

Step 7: Restore the previous data if needed
